This video shows how the FlowFighter system can be used to add artificial friction loss to the training scenario to simulate different lengths of hose. In this example the FlowFighter system is connected to the pump with a 50 foot section of 1.75" hose, and the user configures the system to add the friction loss of an additional 200 feet of 1.75" hose. The nozzle being used is a 95 gpm fixed gallonage combination nozzle designed for 100 psi tip pressure. Using the standard "C" value of 15.5 per 100 feet of 1.75" hose, we can calculate that our desired pump pressure should be 136 psi to flow 95 gpm with this nozzle and 250 feet of 1.75" hose.
